How the AZA Morocco Tours app uses Google

What the app is

AZA Morocco Tours is a Morocco tour operator based in Marrakech Morocco, running private and small-group tours. The “AZA Morocco Tours” Google app is the sign-in behind our private admin dashboard — the back office our team uses to answer travel enquiries, prepare trip proposals and bookings, and see how our website is performing.

The app is used only by AZA Morocco Tours staff. Travellers never sign in to it, it has no public sign-up, and it connects only to Google accounts owned by our business. It is operated by AZA Morocco Tours.

Why it connects to Google

A staff member connects a Google account from the dashboard settings. The app asks for these permissions, each for one specific feature:

What we access

Only the data listed above: messages in email threads with people who sent us an enquiry, our Gmail labels, read-only Google Analytics and Search Console reports for azamoroccotours.com, and the connected account’s email address.

How we use it

Solely to provide the dashboard features described above to our own team: replying to travellers, keeping each enquiry’s conversation in one place, and reporting on our website’s traffic and search performance. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve or train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.

How we store and protect it

• Messages from enquiry threads (sender, recipient, subject, date, message text and attachment file names — not the attachments themselves) are saved with the enquiry in our private, access-controlled content database.
• Google sign-in tokens are encrypted (AES-256-GCM) before they are stored, and are never shown in the dashboard.
• Google Analytics and Search Console reports are not stored permanently — they are held in server memory for up to an hour to avoid repeat requests.
• Only signed-in AZA Morocco Tours staff can view this data, and only to do their work.

Sharing

We do not sell Google user data or share it with third parties. It is processed only by the service providers that host our website and database on our behalf (Vercel and Sanity), under their data-processing terms.

Retention and deletion

A connected Google account can be disconnected at any time from the dashboard settings — this revokes the app’s access and deletes the stored token. Access can also be removed from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Email messages synced to an enquiry are deleted when that enquiry is deleted, or on request — travellers can ask us to delete their enquiry and its conversation through our contact page.

Google API Services User Data Policy

AZA Morocco Tours’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
