How much does Morocco cost?

Morocco is one of the most affordable long-haul destinations for European and North American travellers. With an organised tour, most visitors spend $130–$200 per day all-in (excluding flights), covering accommodation, a private or shared guide, transport between cities, and most meals.

The largest variable is accommodation. Budget guesthouses run $30–$50/night, mid-range riads $80–$140/night, and premium boutique riads $200–$450+/night. Desert camps — a highlight of any Sahara trip — are typically $80–$150/night including dinner and breakfast.

Flights from the UK to Marrakech start around £60–£180 return. From the US, Casablanca or Marrakech are usually $450–$900 return depending on season. April and October are peak but most rewarding months.
