12-Day Luxury Grand Morocco TourEvery Region, at a Five-Star Standard
12 days / 11 nights·Private for your party (2–10)
About this journey
This is our most complete luxury itinerary — everything the 12-day small-group circuit covers, at a five-star standard throughout, with a guide and vehicle dedicated entirely to your group. Atlas Mountains, two nights around the Sahara, Fes and Meknes, and two nights on the Atlantic coast at Essaouira. The route runs a wide loop out of Marrakech, but nothing about the pace is rushed — twelve days at a luxury tier means genuine rest built in alongside the sightseeing, particularly around the Sahara and at Essaouira, which closes the trip deliberately slowly rather than as an afterthought. This suits travellers who've decided Morocco deserves the full two weeks and want every element — accommodation, transport, dining, guiding — at the top of what's available, without switching between a group tour and independent luxury travel. As with all our luxury itineraries, this is a starting template. Extra nights, specific properties, particular experiences (a private musician for a desert dinner, a specific riad you've read about) can all be built in when you enquire.
- All four Morocco regions at a five-star standard: Atlas, Sahara, imperial north, Atlantic coast
- Two nights in the Sahara region including a genuine luxury camp
- Two full days in Fes plus private Meknes and Volubilis access
- Two nights in a luxury Essaouira riad on the Atlantic coast
- Dedicated private guide and vehicle for the entire twelve days

A scenic drive north along the Ziz Valley's palm groves, with a stop at the Ziz Gorge viewpoint. Overnight at a boutique property in Midelt.

Meknes, the smallest and most underrated imperial city, and Volubilis, Morocco's best-preserved Roman ruins, visited privately and at your own pace. Back in Fes for a relaxed evening.

The route south crosses the Middle Atlas via Azrou and Khenifra, market towns most visitors never see. Overnight at a comfortable hotel in Beni Mellal, setting up a shorter approach to Marrakech.

A private guide walks you through the Essaouira medina — the Skala ramparts, woodworking souks, and the fish market — with the afternoon left open for a beach walk or a private seafood lunch on the harbour.

Questions about this tour
Our 7 and 9-day luxury tours cover shorter versions of this route. This 12-day version is specifically for travellers who want the coast included as well, without rushing any region.
It works as a deliberate slow close to the trip — after nine days of driving and sightseeing, two nights on the Atlantic coast is a genuine change of pace, not just a box to tick.
Yes — tell us what matters most when you enquire and we can drop or shorten a section, typically Essaouira or the Meknes/Volubilis day, and extend elsewhere instead.
February to May and September to December. Essaouira is pleasant nearly year-round; the Sahara section rules out peak summer.
Per-person cost drops meaningfully for 4 or 6+ travellers, since the vehicle and guide cost is shared. See the pricing tiers above.
A guideline is $15–$20 per traveller per day for the guide, $8–$10 for the driver, and a discretionary amount for camp, workshop and specialist guides along the way.
