This tour solves that: seven days, starting and ending in Casablanca, covering the country's two capitals (Rabat, the political capital, and Marrakech, the tourist one), the imperial city of Fes, and a night in the Sahara — all without a single one-way flight or long backtrack to the airport. The route runs Casablanca to Rabat on day one, then east to Fes for the medina and tanneries, south through the Middle Atlas and Ziz Valley to a night in the Merzouga dunes, then west to Marrakech for two nights, before the final drive back to Casablanca in time for your flight home. This suits first-time visitors flying in and out of Casablanca who want to see the highlights — desert, imperial cities, Marrakech — without adding a domestic flight or a long one-way drive back to their departure airport.
Pick-up from your Casablanca hotel or the airport, with a stop at the Hassan II Mosque exterior — one of the largest mosques in the world, built directly on the Atlantic. Continue to Rabat for the afternoon: the Kasbah of the Udayas, the Hassan Tower, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat.
Morning drive east through Meknes, with an optional stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis, before arriving in Fes by early afternoon. Check in and take a first orientation walk into the medina as the afternoon light hits the gates of Bab Boujloud.

Early sunrise dune climb, then a long drive west via Tinjdad and the Dades Valley to Aït Benhaddou, Morocco's best-known kasbah, for a walk through the ksar. Cross the Tizi n'Tichka pass in the late afternoon, arriving Marrakech by evening.
A full day in Marrakech: the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Mosque exterior, the Medersa Ben Youssef, and the souks around Jemaa el-Fnaa. Evening free to experience the square itself as it fills with food stalls, musicians and storytellers after dark.

This is a driving-heavy loop by design — Morocco's sights are spread out. Expect 3–6 hours of driving on 4 of the 7 days, broken up with stops. The longest single day is Fes to Merzouga (around 7 hours with stops).
